This project is born from the combination of craft values and interactivity. Initially inspired by contemporary craft furniture, I wanted to see how these ideas, combined with interactive lighting design, could inform a final product.

Various soft prototypes had been created in order to find a design that was multifunctional and easy to use with the proposed twist mechanism. Once manufacturing could begin, I was tasked with creating a custom housing for the twist mechanism and electronic components. This was rapidly prototyped using 3D printing technology.

The final outcome is a fully functional prototype that features USB-C charging capabilities and a low-energy LED light source that can be easily replaced. The prototype can also be disassembled with ease.
