Housed in the repurposed walls of an old Art Deco-style school science room, Spatial lab is a multidisciplinary creative studio founded by Aaron Gair, James Stephenson and Liam Scott. We are located in Newcastle Upon Tyne at the John Marley Center.

Created to house and support each resident’s creative practice, Spatial lab functions as a collaborative working environment. With a shared goal of cultivating a space for research, experimentation, prototyping and creating new ideas.

As a studio collective, we all aim to use our space to build a strong local design and art movement. All of our upcoming work will be available through online publications, local exhibitions and our in-house magazine.
